Alternative Fee Models
BGM Law Group offers its outside general counsel services using flexible alternatives to the standard billable hour model. Our clients can budget and manage their legal expenses with certainty by utilizing our alternative fee arrangements including:
- A fixed monthly retainer that covers all services provided within the scope of a given engagement.
- “Cap and floor” features for fixed monthly retainers allow clients and counsel to share the risk of variations in needed services. BGM offers fixed fee retainers that provide clients with partial refunds when the value of work falls below an agreed upon floor, and an additional, discounted fee payable when the value of work exceeds an agreed cap.
- Variable length, no obligation plans that allow for adjustments to be proposed by either the client or the firm at any time to reflect actual activity levels.
